Exactly...

I have encountered many wonderful and amazing children in my lifetime, but there is something said for children who grow up knowing what it means to persevere each and every day. These children are fighters. They experience more hardships each day than the majority of us, yet their outlook and zest for life is apparent.  As a mom, it is unbelievably hard to watch and witness the struggles and pain Camden endures (and the children in this video have it even harder than him). But as parents, so often with our children, Jeff and I have to stand back and let go.  And Cam is the youngest!!  As heartbreaking as it is at times to watch him stumble, being able to witness him accomplish a task he has fought to conquer...well, there is nothing quite like it.  The simple things aren't so simple anymore and he/we learn to recognize what it means to not take life's moments for granted. We learn to celebrate and give thanks for simplicity.
