Here is a pic of Cam's scar from his SDR surgery. It is held together by skin glue (Dermabond), so there are no stitches to remove. I can hardly believe how well it works and it is healing nicely.
I wanted to include a video of Cam's movement in his toes...This is 2 weeks after surgery. It is still tricky for him to move them because he has never used the muscles to do so before. He has to concentrate really hard as well. If you have watched the "before surgery" video, earlier in my blog, of him trying to move his foot, you will see a big difference! (Just be patient, it takes several seconds to get it moving:)

Jen, I didn't realize you were going to be posting the process as it was happening. I feel so bad I just barely checked your blog...oh, I just feel for you and Jeff and what you have had to worry about. And poor little Camden too...but it looks like he is a strong kiddo and coming a long well. Such a special little guy he is...and you are a special mother. Hang in there Jen! I'm thinking of you and Camden often. Love you dearly and I will keep in touch. And keep us all posted on his progress.
