Day 5 POST Surgery: Good - bye Hospital!
As happy as we are to be discharged from the hospital, we will miss our new Finland friends! They were wonderful roommates and the boys became immediate friends. I am sure it helped them both to have a pal going through the same ups and downs as they each were. These two were the only two hemi kids who underwent the rhizotomy this week and the nurses were so glad to witness them walking in the halls. They don't usually get to see their rhizotomy patients walk because there are fewer hemi 's (they are stronger because only one leg is affected so they can walk quicker).

We miss you! We did go to the galleria for shopping in the afternoon. It did go well. Glad the socks did fit him :)
WOOHOO! Love the socks. It will be soooooooo good to have you home. Hopefully Camden will do good on the flight home. Fun to have new friends you can compare notes with. =0} I'm sure Michael and Macie will be happy to see you all again!!! Hugs, Bev (and Terry)
