It's go time

Cam was a little apprehensive this morning waiting for the procedure. When a Dr's assistant came in to put a mark on his back to assure the procedure would happen on the right side, his nervousness came pouring out. He didn't want that guy anywhere near him. We were a little worried at that point that we might have to dress down in the surgical garb and go back with him. Luckily they have a great medicine to give the kids to calm their nerves. After drinking the "happy" medicine, it only took about 10 minutes and he was ready to walk out of there with anyone. He was wheeled away by 2 nice nurses, and we were later told he didn't cry once and was giggling and laughing with everyone. He even told them about all the fun things he likes to do with his big brother. Now the hard part for mom and dad... The waiting period. It is such a blessing to have God sitting beside us in the waiting room and knowing we have so many of our friends and family praying for us.

Kellen and I were happy to see our little friend's smile in this picture and know he is in good hands right now! Thank you, God, for giving someone the smarts to invent happy juice! Maybe mom and dad could use some too? LOL
