Today was a day of welcome distractions. We didn't get to bed until 1 A.M. from our late flight and taxi ride to the hotel, so we were very pleased when Cam slept in until 9:30! After a pretty decent continental breakfast, we headed for the St. Louis Zoo. Our hotel was only about a mile away, so we walked. It was a beautiful day with a high of 61 degrees! Perfect weather for an outside zoo visit. Camden was a little off at first and not really into checking out the animals, but once we fueled him up again with some lunch he caught his second wind. He was even the one to spot a peacock walking down the path nearby.
We also had some pool time at our hotel. All in all we had a nice day together and enjoyed some quality time with Cam. We think he has had fun too, although he has mentioned several times how much he misses Michael and Macie. As the youngest, he isn't used to them not being around.
