Disneyland!

We went to Disneyland this past April and had a wonderful time. We only took the older kids and had to leave baby Camden home with grandparents. It was easier on us and from the sounds of it, Camden didn't mind being spoiled one bit! We spent a whole week in Disneyland with a 5 day Hopper pass to California Adventures as well. The kids received this gift for Christmas and could hardly stand it by the time we got on the airplane for California.

The weather was pretty nice, the only negative thing mother nature threw at us was a little rain and an earthquake! We were not actually at Disneyland during the earthquake, we were riding a shuttle to dinner. We didn't feel a thing! I think it was because it was a bumpy ride anyways. Our family kept calling and texting us to see if we were allright, and we didn't even have a clue about the whole situation. We did hear that they shut Disney down for an hour or so because it shook some of the rides pretty good though.

Some of the highlights of our trip were: The Pirate's Dinner, Pirates of the Carribean (Michael's fav), The castle and the princesses (Macie's fav), the Madderhorn Rollercoaster (both kids LOVED this one...Macie cried when she had to get off because she wanted to do it again), the Electric Parade, the Fireworks over Disneyland, the Teapots, flying on an airplane, and getting to eat all sorts of yummy treats. It was such a magical place that really does make you feel like a kid again, except you are pushing a stroller in a HUGE crowd everywhere you go, so you are reminded that you are not a kid, but an adult! It was so hard to come home, but we missed Camden and vacations eventually have to come to an end!
