Pickin' Pumpkins

Tonight we went to Linder Farms to pick out some Halloween Pumpkins for the kids. This was the first time we have picked our own....we usually go pick them out at the store! The atmosphere was so much better at the farm however!! We did the hay ride, wondered through the pumpkin patch, ran through the kiddie maze, let Michael ride the "Cow Train" (this, we were told later, was his "favorite"), and I was even able to talk Jeff into getting some yummy homemade doughnuts. We all had a great time together and look forward to doing it again next year!

Looking for the perfect pumpkin......

"I think I found mine mommy and daddy!"

Mommy and one of her own little "pumpkins"!

Not quite sure of what she is supposed to be doing!

Look at all those beautiful orange pumpkins!

The Cow Train....plastic barrels pulled by a riding lawnmower.....what more could a kid ask for??

Your family is so cute!!! I can't believe how big they are now! How are you? We are doing good. Definitely staying busy :) Being teacher and mom is definitely a juggling act. I love your blog! I don't know if I ever told you but I have one too it's desandchan@blogspot.com. It's fall break for the next two days which I am loving! Anyways, I hope all is well and your family is so cute!! Talk to you later!

I want to go!!! That looks like so much fun! And I am sure the "Pumpkin Patch" was a lot more fun than the store! Michael and Macie are growing up so fast! Treasure every moment! Love you all - G & G Barrett

This looks so fun! After I saw your blog I told Travis I wanted to go do that. I want to find out where and if they have any pumpkin patches around here. I especially love the idea of pulling kids around in by a riding lawn mower! That is so cute. And everyone looks so happy!!! THAT'S THE BEST PART!!
